Who Are We Looking For

We’re looking for a technically skilled, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven Software Engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about building and optimizing payment infrastructure. You should be proactive and curious — energized by the challenge of integrating payment partners, ensuring seamless transaction flows, and troubleshooting complex systems to support secure, scalable, and global payment operations.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications in PHP and other programming languages used by the company.
• Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and integration interfaces with internal and external systems.
• Implementing and supporting third-party integrations, including payment-related integrations where applicable.
• Implementing user-facing features using JavaScript, React, and other frontend frameworks and libraries.
• Ensuring proper integration between frontend components and backend logic.
• Designing, optimizing, and maintaining MySQL database schemas, queries, and related data structures.
• Collaborating with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate functional requirements into working software solutions.
• Ensuring application performance, scalability, reliability, and security in accordance with internal standards.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, including production incidents.
• Participating in code reviews and adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation related to developed solutions.
• Contributing to technical discussions and the continuous improvement of system architecture and development processes.
• Performing other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Skills and Competencies Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Symfony, Zend Framework/Laminas etc.).
• Fluency in English and Russian is required to interact with global stakeholders.
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming.
• Understanding of design patterns.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with MySQL, database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• 3 years and above
