Professor Vladimir Njegomir is a Full Professor of Insurance, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. He was author or coauthor of sixteen books, including Insurance: Economic Principles, Economics of Insurance, Insurance Companies in the Role of Institutional Investors, Claims Management in Insurance, Climate Changes and Agriculture Insurance, Insurance, Insurance and Reinsurance: Traditional and Alternative Approaches, Principles of Economists: for non Economists, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurship: From Idea to Opportunity and Success. The professor led and participated in 7 projects; he attended over 20 scientific conferences and published over 150 papers in insurance, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
Professor Njegomir worked as an economic analyst at software companies based in London (Finsoft and Q-Sphere). There, he focused on investment climate analysis, sectoral economic analysis, business analysis, insurance, and pension funds. He also served as an adviser for strategic planning, corporate governance, and business analysis in the insurance company Dunav osiguranje (insurance company).
From 2010 to 2020, he was engaged as an Assistant Professor and an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Legal and Business Studies, Dr.
Vrkatic, from February 2021, he has been a Full Professor at the same institution.
Professor Njegomir holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a focus on Finance and Accounting, and a master’s degree in Economics with a focus on Institutional Investments of Insurance Companies. Professor Njegomir has two PhDs. The first Ph.D. is in Technical Sciences, with a focus on Risk Management and Insurance. The second Ph.D. is in Economics, with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Insurance.
