About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining our OCI environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. The role requires close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployment pipelines, optimize performance, and enforce best practices in infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including compute, networking, storage, and databases.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform for OCI.
• Configure and manage OCI security controls (IAM, policies, compartments, network security, vaults).
• Maintain and support containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle Kubernetes Engine).
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using OCI Monitoring, Logging, and Alarms, plus tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies in OCI.
• Troubleshoot incidents in production, perform root-cause analysis, and apply fixes or preventive measures.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize performance and deployment cycles.
• Enforce cloud security, compliance, and cost-management best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Hands-on expertise with OCI Compute, Networking (VCN, Load Balancers, Gateways), Storage, and Database services.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration and shell scripting skills.
• Solid knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OKE).
• Hands-on experience in monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database and Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Knowledge of serverless functions in OCI.
• Familiarity with messaging/streaming services (Kafka, OCI Streaming).
• Exposure to regulatory compliance requirements (SOC2, ISO, PCI DSS).
• Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, and compliance best practices.
