Role Description The Artificial Intelligence Engineer will work full time on-site in Jeddah, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of AI models that support ESG reporting management and climate action solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and implementing machine learning and deep learning algorithms, developing and optimizing our LLM workflows, and managing our on-prem GPU-Accelerated Server to process and analyze environmental and operational data. The role involves close collaboration with software developers, data scientists, and climate consultants to integrate AI models into production systems and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

The AI Engineer will also participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and support continuous model improvement based on client feedback and new scientific insights. This position is suited to individuals who enjoy working at the intersection of AI, engineering, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in LLM's and Neural Networks for building and optimizing machine learning and deep learning models.
• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text processing, model training, and evaluation for real-world applications.
• Hands-on Software Development skills in languages such as Python, Shell, and Typescript, and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience or familiarity with Web Development frameworks such as Svelte and Fast-API
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related engineering field.
• Experience working with large datasets, data pipelines, and cloud or distributed computing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest or prior experience in climate tech, environmental analytics, or sustainability-focused projects is highly beneficial.
• Interest or experience in Linux operating systems, SSH, and Networks is a plus.
• Interest or Experience in Docker, Docker compose, or Containerization is a plus.
