This is a full-time hybrid role based in Riyadh, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Google Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and solutions to meet organisational needs.
Responsibilities include managing cloud-based services, optimising cloud performance, ensuring system security, provisioning resources, and supporting cloud-native application deployment. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions aligned with company objectives.
Skills in building, designing, and deploying GCP-based workloads
Expertise in GCP Infrastructure and GKE Computing, including provisioning and managing scalable GCP cloud environments
Extensive experience in Datacentre to GCP migration or Other public cloud to GCP migration using frameworks like 6R's
Multi-year client-facing experience to guide/help/onboard clients on use of GCP services.
Proficiency in Linux system administration and management
Knowledge of Databases and their integration within cloud platforms
Experience working with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud service providers
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Professional certifications in cloud computing or Google Cloud technologies are an advantage
Efficient communicator with depth of perception and strategic thinking.
