Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to lead and deliver IT consulting projects across multiple clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring strong client communication, effective planning, and identifying opportunities to expand client engagements. This role requires a balance of delivery excellence, stakeholder management, and business acumen to drive successful project outcomes and long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and milestones.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high delivery standards.
2. Client Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide clear progress reports.
- Manage client expectations and address escalations effectively.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Project Management Tools & Reporting
- Utilize project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
- Track milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and project KPIs.
- Maintain accurate documentation, dashboards, and reporting standards.
- Ensure transparency and visibility across internal and external stakeholders.
4. Project Scoping & Requirement Management
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Translate business requirements into detailed project plans and work breakdown structures.
- Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with contractual agreements and business goals.
- Ensure proper change management processes are followed.
5. Client Growth & Business Development Support
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Partner with sales and leadership teams to expand client engagements.
- Support proposal development, cost estimations, and client presentations.
- Contribute to strategic account growth initiatives.
- 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in an IT consulting or technology services environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid models.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certification.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Exposure to business development or account management activities.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify revenue growth opportunities.
