I hold a joint master degree in Mining Engineering from two universities, “TU Bergakademie Freiberg” in Germany and “Montan Universität Leoben” in Austria. The title of the course is "Advanced Mineral Resources Development". The topic of the master thesis is "Using acoustic emission sensors to distinguish between different rocks during mechanical cutting".
The focus of the program is on mining technology, both on surface and underground. The program is broad in scope and covers many aspects related to mining: continental and marine, management and exploitation of mineral resources, rock engineering, excavation and rock cutting, underground mine ventilation, surveying, and computer applications in mining, including modeling of mineral deposits and modeling of ventilation and blasting processes, and also includes Economic studies such as mineral economics, economic geology, feasibility studies, as well as administrative studies, including stakeholder affairs management, human resources management, and environmental studies, such as brownfield revitalization, water treatment in industrial mining sites, dealing with radioactivity, reclamation of previously mined sites, and others

B.Sc. degree in Mining Engineering from “Cairo University” with the grade "good" for the Bachelor thesis.
