ELECTRICAL SUBSTATIONS, INFRASTRUCTURE

PROJECTS, INSTALLATION AND TESTING

SCOPE OF WORK: Utilities are including two small lift stations with wet wells and SCADA control, as well as

Medium- and Low-voltage, Solar Street light system,

Telecom and SCADA systems.

 Working Experience

14 Years record of success in propelling improvements and enhancing the productivity for directives of all electrical processfields Specifically in Power Substations and Mega infrastructure Projects.

Duties

• Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications,

and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes

, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.

• Prepares standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs,

estimates, surveys, and designs.

• Prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
• Reviews small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses.
• Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.
• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer /Drafters,

Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Prepares technical guide specifications, scope of work descriptions,and updates the standard details, design criteria and technical guidelines.
• Prepares Request for Proposal (RFP) documents with design concepts.
• Provides technical assistance during pre-bid conferences, proposalevaluations, and post-award and other conference.
• Review A/E contractor design drawings, specifications and calculations submittals and coordinates with the work of the otherdisciplines
• Reviews specially vendor and shop drawings and specially constructionmaterials and/or equipment submittals.
• Performs field inspections and provides professional field support asnecessary during construction phases.
• Capable to check the designs for medium voltage (13.8 to 115kv)

and low voltage power, indoor lighting, outdoor and road lighting.

• Medium and low voltage power systems one-line diagram and electrical room’s equipment layout underground and exposed conduitand cable tray runs Calculations for demand load estimates,

for sizingmajor equipment and circuits.

• Design experience (from conceptual to detailed) with utility andindustrial facilities are desirable:

Medium voltage power distribution substation one-line diagram and layout of major equipment Protective relaying schemes for medium voltage bus, transformer, cable and switchgear control,

monitoring and metering SCADA.

• Medium voltage power distribution layout with cables in duct banks and direct buried thorough knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, and IEC standards.
