My motivation to teach derives from the same impulse that led me into my fulfilling my career nearly 20 years ago. Since the beginning of my studies in the performing arts, I have sought to use physical movement to express stories and emotions in innovative ways, and I am a strong proponent of teaching others how to do the same. Throughout my career, I have consistently viewed teaching as a way to enrich both performers’ and viewers’ lives, and I believe my obligation as a teacher is to encourage students to learn a variety of styles and pursue their own creative expression.

Having experienced first-hand the power of sports & dance to shape people’s perspectives, I am enthusiastic about using my professional experiences, skills, and beliefs to educate new young students in the techniques.

Skill acquisition and training, performance development, and a creative spirit are all essential components to a successful career as a Teacher. As an accomplished professional dancer with extensive experience in both personal performance as well as technique instruction, I am well positioned to leverage my background and skills to excel in a position as a teacher in education, but also for after school activities.
