At SIIMCO, my role as IT Officer revolves around meticulous management of system specifications, supplier contracts, and service agreements, aligning station managers and department heads with cost-effective, high-quality IT solutions. With a profound expertise in IT system management, my efforts are geared towards the strategic procurement and budgeting processes that bolster our company's operational efficiency.

The architecture of IT systems, including their development, deployment, and support, falls under my purview. Our team ensures robust network security and performance, while also providing comprehensive help desk and technical support. We pride ourselves in fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, contributing significantly to SIIMCO's growth and the seamless experience of our internal and external users.

• Discuss system specifications, pricing, and schedules with station managers and department heads.
• Manage supplier contracts and services agreements, as well as cost negotiations.
• Control the IT department's financial activities, such as purchasing, budgeting, rolling forecasting, and review.
• Support for business and operations, including repair and maintenance for IT equipment

Organize the development, testing, deployment, monitoring, upkeep, maintenance, and support of all present IT.

• Systems such as operating systems, telecommunication, software programs, and hardware accessories
• Grant users’ access to networks and software

Support for internal/external users, partners, and helpdesk services are provided.

• IT hardware, network, and device upkeep and preventive maintenance
• Make an inventory of all IT hardware and associated peripherals and update it frequently and consistently.
• Participate in ongoing and planned projects.
• Research current and potential resources and services
• Keeping management and stations informed of developments.
• When necessary, identify the hardware and get it ready for disposal.
• Monitoring all technology for security issues and notifying personnel of any breaches, password changes, or security status
• Maintain constant communication with the management and all users of the information services and systems.
• Follow technological developments and decide which new technology implementations and solutions will satisfy system and business needs.
