A Pharmacoeconomist.
I did extensive training in systematic reviews and meta-analyses, a cost-effectiveness analysis, and an in-depth understanding of the regulations enacted to control the pharmaceutical industry. Also, the 2 years spent as a medical representative, gave a strong insight into corporate operations and policies, as well as being aware of the challenges and obstacles which might spur from such interactions.
I was honored to join Pfizer back on November 3, 2012, as a medical representative after graduating from the school of pharmacy at KAU, before pursuing graduate degrees in the pharmaceutical economics and policy field, which devoted to in-depth readings in the process of synthesizing the clinical evidence, economically evaluating the clinical effectiveness of the potential strategies, and proposing policy amendments given the current regulatory landscape.
