Organize & supervise the inspection & execution of construction work to ensure compliance with the drawings, specification, safety and environmental provision along with Project Manager.
Co-ordinate of all activities such as Bar Bending Schedule, Reinforcement checking, measurement checks and testing to ensure the accuracy of the works are carried out.
Co-ordinate and collect the information provided by the daily records and site diaries of the work supervisors and prepare input to the weekly reports on all activities carried out in the section of works under my control.
Estimation & Budgeting (RCC roads, Culverts & Landscape works), Review and negotiation of contracts etc.
Marking various types of field changes on drawings.
Processing of Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) for Consultants, Suppliers and Contractors.
Check and verify the prepared payment certificates done by Asst. / Jr. Q.S. for final recommendation.
Set out, level and survey the site
Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
Liaise with the local authority where appropriate to the project to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
Communicate with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress
Carry out day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors - this is site-specific and may not be the case on all projects
