1. It is my pleasure to reflect my interest in the field of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and research. This role really attracted my attention as I have a strong educational background and extensive experience in the field of biostatistics, epidemiology and research. I think this knowledge and expertise could be highly valuable to Universities and Research institutes. My experience in research, epidemiology and biostatistics for more than 10 years consecutively allowed to work as teaching advanced courses at population studies center university of Gezira. Besides, I worked as a Public Health practitioner with over five years (5) experience in Public Health practice, with UN-African Union Hybrid Force in Darfur (UNAMID), where I have provided the needed professional skill in the implementation of all Public Health programmes and projects motivated to apply for the above vacancy. Moreover, I have enriched experience in the field of research and epidemiology during my experience in Mycetoma research center as associated researcher. I was a chief of health system at UNAMID, my responsibilities were to design data collection tools, collection and analysis of data, dissemination of results, writing proposals for emergency plans, and formulating logical frameworks, besides implementation of annual and emergency plans. I have master’s in public health and understand the United Nations system very well. I am good at both oral and written English. All these have broadened my skills in information management, analysis, report writing and advocacy. I am result-driven and career-oriented with a penchant for excellence. I am skillful in all biostatistics, epidemiology and research. I can motivate and communicate effectively to a heterogeneous public. I shall bring on board my professional expertise in Public Health, research and epidemiology and experience over years to deal with all the multi-faceted requirements as Assistant/Associate/ Professor in Biostatistics/Epidemiology.
