I 'm Dr.
Flaifel a Jordanian citizen and currently working at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. I earned my B.Sc. (Hons.) & M.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics form Aligarh Muslim University, India, in 2001 & 2003, respectively, and then obtained my Ph.D. in Materials Science from National University of Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia in 2012. Currently, my ambition is to join a vibrant, research-based and modern academic institution that is earning high reputation both nationally and internationally and which has distinctive vision and ambitious prospective plans for teaching and research in science, engineering and technology.
I'm currently working as an Assistant Professor of Materials Science in the Department of Physics, College of Science, Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. My experience in the field of teaching and scientific research exceeds 17 years with duties varied between giving lectures, training courses, scientific research and supervision. I taught various subjects in the fields of materials science and engineering, physics, and mechanical engineering.
I possess strong academic qualifications, significant management and leadership experience, a good understanding of academic issues, a track record of evidence-based learning improvement and excellent interpersonal skills. Added to this is my dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and education of all my students, my superb time management skills, as well as the ability to manage a complex workload effectively in a fast-paced environment. My research interests include but limited to nanomaterials, multifunctional hybrid polymer composites, and magnetic and semiconductor composites for energy, electronics and environmental applications.
I obtained B.Sc. (Hons.) & M.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics form Aligarh Muslim University, India, in 2001 & 2003, respectively. I then obtained Ph.D. in Materials Science with specialization in Polymer Composites & Nanomaterials from National University of Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia in 2012. I taught several courses in Materials Science & Engineering and Applied Physics for both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
My research interests include Nanoparticles, Nanomaterials, Multi-functional Polymer Composites/Nanocomposites for Energy, Electronics, Environmental, and Microwave Absorption Applications.
