Thesis Title: Experimental Investigation on the Performance of Domestic Vapor Compression Refrigeration Systems Using Nano refrigerants.

The study commenced with the utilization of initial simulations to explore the attributes of mixed Nano refrigerants. This investigation was undertaken to assess their viability for integration into household refrigeration systems. Subsequently, an experimental procedure was executed to quantify the coefficient of performance (COP) exhibited by the system. The experiment involved the utilization of R290-R600a/Al2O3 Nano refrigerant. The data acquisition systems were employed to meticulously record and analyze these temperature variations over time.

Report Title: Experimental Evaluation of Nanofluid Based Corrugated Pipe Heat Exchanger with Turbulator.

A series of experiments was undertaken to investigate the relationship between Reynolds number, pressure drop, and heat transfer characteristics. The findings unveiled a significant improvement in convective heat transfer along the inner tube side when water was substituted with a 0.05% volume concentration of CuO-H2O (L) Nanofluid. Moreover, the study examined the impact of introducing corrugations to the inner pipe.

This enhancement led to a notable increase in the overall heat transfer coefficient, further augmenting the efficiency of the heat transfer process.
