As CTO at the Saudi Real Estate Company played a pivotal role in establishing the holding company and setting up four subsidiary companies which were focused on Construction, Facilities Management, Project Management (PMO) and Infrastructure. Devised and implemented the appropriate IT systems for each subsidiary and where appropriate instigated a “shared service” model to achieve very significant cost savings for the holding company.
As Chief Technology Officer at the Saudi Real Estate Company, acted as Project Director for key elements of the SAR 11 Billion “AlWidyan Smart City” project in Saudi Arabia. Took responsibility for the IT Infrastructure including the implementation of a very large-scale AWS Cloud implementation. Engaged with multiple international vendors and 3rd party suppliers and successfully completed the full scope of the assigned project on schedule & within budget.
Reviewed key elements of the service management provision at the Saudi Real Estate Company and identified a number of areas for improvement. Focused on the performance of the incident management, problem management and escalation process.
ManageEngine IT Operations and Service Management Software and achieved a very substantial improvement in response times, down from 3-5 days to an average of 15 minutes.
As a Senior Manager at Riyad Bank, optimised the performance of the bank’s service management by implementing standardized and efficient methods and procedures relating to incident / problem management, change management, configuration management, capacity and availability management based on the ITIL Framework. As a direct result of this initiative, I was able to minimize the impact of any problems/incidents on service levels.
