As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the equipment in the facility in the production floor, warehouse and office area. You will also be responsible for cleaning and providing minor repairs on warehouse machinery. As well as performing a variety of low-medium skilled maintenance.

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.) .
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed .
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.) .
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries .
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.).
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs .
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures .
