Mona Omer

I am a clinical microbiologist with a PhD degree; I have both Academic (teaching &

research) and Professional experiences. My academic background includes teaching clinical microbiology branches (bacteriology, virology, and mycology) to students of medical programs. Professional experience: I have more than 16 years of experience in diagnostic laboratories. I also have experience in management, leadership, and quality improvement as I worked for 5 years as the head of quality assurance in

Sudan's National Directorate for blood transfusion services. As a researcher, my interests lie in infectious diseases and the Blood Bank. I have supervised both postgraduate and undergraduate students in their microbiology research.
