Responsibilities:
- Directs supervises the activities of all contracted personnel assigned to the Public Health Section on South Sudan Baher Algzal state locations,
- Ensures that all drains, sewers, manholes, septic tanks, cesspools and sewage pumping stations are properly maintained and regularly serviced.
- Inspects and monitors of the all catering facilities including kitchens, restaurants, bakery, food-stores, chillers, freezers and other domestic buildings to ensure that Company’s hygiene practices and standards are adhered to;
- Supervises and ensures that adequate pest control services are carried out,
- Supervises the sanitation of all water tanks/pipes when requested to do in south Darfur,
- Investigates and reports all cases of infectious diseases and Public Health hazards.
- Supervises, and implementation of safety regulations, standards, procedures and programmers regarding all areas to ensure that all personnel on Das Island are living in a safe and hygienic environment,
- Exercises self-safety audit, conducts seminars and lectures on Public Health education to promote awareness of Public Health and Safety within the Ayat Community,
- Prepares and updates waste disposal guidelines as per the Waste Management procedure

- Sharing the responsibility for supervision of food industries, food preparation and retail establishments, slaughter houses, abattoirs and butcheries.
- Conduction of water safety surveys in water sources and networks.
- Supervising Waste Management activities namely collection transport and final disposal of waste.
