Job Responsibilities:-

Responsible on Control Valve PSV and maintenance of the following:

Daily routine troubleshooting, maintenance, testing and calibration of all types of valves in the plant.

Familiar with ANSI, ASME, API Codes and application

Ability to organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency according to SAP work orders.

Carries out the skilled maintenance, overhaul and repair of all types of valve, pressure testing of equipment in their respective assigned areas.

Repairing, overhauling and calibration of Pressure Safety Valves / Control Valves and Isolation Valves equipment as well implementation and modifications.

Knowledge on diagnostic for the causes of failure and to identify damaged spares for dismantled valves and actuators.

Repairs valves, actuators and calibrate positioners.

Capable of understanding Control Valve testing procedure as per leakage class ANSI/FCL 70-2 and API 527 Seat Tightness Test of Pressure Relief Valve, API 598 for Isolation Valve and API 594 for Non Return Valve.

Carries out the skilled maintenance on such items of plant and equipment as Ball Valve, Gate Valve, Globe Valve, Butterfly Valve, Plug Valve, Pressure Control Valve, Pressure Safety Valve,

Hands on experience on VENTIL TEST UNITS of Pressure Safety Valve, Control Valves and Isolation Valves and VPAC II machine for online testing of valves on sites.

Uses Druck Calibrator for low pressure valves such as Vacuum Valves.

Carries out wide range corrective maintenance and repairs as result of check of failures of equipment.

Documentation and make certificates of repair, testing, assembly activities, cause of failure action taken and parts used.

Making and Keeping records like test certificates of valves, work orders and maintenance manuals and data sheets.

Prepare daily, monthly corrective, breakdown and preventive maintenance reports of all types of valves.

Participation in the field service call as required site jobs activities to carry out preventive maintenance, identify the cause and faults and rectifying by repair on site or by replacement by workshop repairs. Dropping and Installing of Valves.

Involved in Borouge Turn around Shutdown (February 17, 2018 – March 28, 2018)

Operates and perform lapping on KEMET Lapping machine.

Perform hose inspection/ certification.

Perform repair and testing of control valves.

Perform repair and testing of LP & HP pressure safety valves.

Perform site jobs troubleshooting activities.

Prioritize Job base on Priority Scheduled or Emergency.

Ensure all machine, Test Bench is tested and fit to be used every day.

Ensure tools is fit for use and also tools inventory conducted twice a month and report to Supervisor if found any damage tools.

Ensure all consumables are sufficient, report to supervisor once the stock is less.

Assist machinist as required for site activities.
