- Review and validate material requirements based on sales forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials.
- Develop and update detailed production schedules to meet delivery commitments and optimize plant capacity.
- Coordinate with production manager to align scheduling with resource availability.
- Track raw material @ MRP work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Liaise with sales, procurement, warehouse, and quality control teams to ensure alignment of material and production plans.
- Participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to provide input on capacity and material availability
- Monitor section KPIs related to material availability, production adherence, and delivery performance
- Monitoring supply chain KPIs (order fill rate, stock coverage, inventory turnover, OTIF, etc.) and driving continuous improvement actions.
- Identify potential risks in material supply or production schedules and recommend mitigation measures.
- Able to transform the corporate goals into business plans.
