I am a dedicated Neonatologist, with extensive experience in quaternary and Tertiary Centers Kingdom.
GMC Full Licence: Active (UK) Residency Status: British Citizen
I am writing to express my strong interest in securing a Consultant Neonatologist position within a healthcare institution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
I will bring my extensive clinical expertise, leadership, and passion for neonatal care.
My clinical journey encompasses over three decades of dedicated neonatal service across high-volume tertiary and surgical centers in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and France. Notably, I previously spent five foundational years (2006–2011) at Prince Sultan Military Medical City (PSMMC) in Riyadh—a 115-bed quaternary NICU/PNW —working as a Senior Registrar (Third on Call, equivalent to Resident Consultant). This period established my profound familiarity with Saudi healthcare frameworks, Arabian Gulf patient demographics, and complex multidisciplinary tertiary workflows in cardiac, metabolic, surgical, and neurology.
I worked as a consultant neonatologist at leading centers in the NHS, including James Cook University Hospital, Hull University Teaching Hospitals, Aberdeen Maternity Hospital (NHS Grampian), and Arrowe Park Hospital.
Subspecialty Expertise: Extensive hands-on management of complex surgical/urological neonates, active involvement in regional Neonatal Transport networks (CONNECT NW, ScotStar), and advanced skills in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS, cranial & lung US). Advanced
Qualifications: MBBCH, MSc, Doctorate (MD in Pediatrics), AFSA (Advanced Training Certificate, France), Postgraduate Diploma in Neonatology (University of Southampton), and MRCPCH.
Quality Improvement & Governance: Proven track record in leading clinical audits, developing SOPs (NEC reduction, CLABSI reduction, unplanned extubation minimization), and training medical students, trainees, and ANPs.
