An experienced, self-motivated, and ambitious academic who has spent ample of time problem solving, writing high impact academic papers (IF 11, Q1), teaching and empowering the next generation of students. I have developed my own miniaturised medical device via high resolution direct-write printing. I have extensive experience in rheology guided formulation of novel hydrophilic/hydrophobic polymers and metallic inks for rapid prototyping of miniaturised sensors for medical devices.
I also have wide-ranging experience in programming, manipulating surface energies, functionalisation of glass capillaries, solution-based chemistry, biocompatible polymer blending, printed circuit board design/implementation, mechanical testing, and complete sensor characterisation. I also have many years of experience in supervising, mentoring, and teaching university students. I also have over 10 years of experience in teaching and preparing college course content for tailored bootcamps and private & government schools.
I am primarily interested in a lecturer/assistant professor position with the aim to open a nanotechnology lab, with high resolution additive manufacturing and surface manipulation (wet chemistry) capabilities. The lab will have a strong focus on medical applications. I would also consider other relevant opportunities.
