HSE Officer Efforts are behind to ensure workplaces are safe. They monitor the general work environment, inspect sites for hazards and safety violations and recommend safety features in new processes and products. Having extensive technical knowledge in hands on approach to Hazards identification, mitigating and Control measures to eliminate the risk of the hazards.

Advocate of safety culture and always try to maintain safety standards as far as practically applicable. Well-developed communication skills demonstrated through generations of in-depth reports and proposals, group speaking and presentation skills, supervision of crews and the ability to interact effectively with senior management, regulatory officials, clients, crews, and the public. My significant objectives are towards workers and employee representatives that should be engaged actively in health and safety matters and major hazard risks by managing effective arrangements for identifying, sharing, and learning lessons for controlling major hazard risks.

• Ensure full compliance with HSE plans, method statements, and risk assessments for excavation and trenching works.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections of excavations, trenches, shoring, and temporary supports.
• Verify proper shoring, benching, sloping, and trench box systems are installed and maintained.
• Monitor permit-to-work systems for excavation, confined space, and hot works where applicable.
• Identify underground utilities (cables, pipelines, sewer lines) and ensure safe excavation practices.
• Ensure safe access and egress (ladders, ramps) in all excavation areas.
• Enforce use of PPE including helmets, safety shoes, reflective vests, gloves, and gas detectors.
• Monitor atmospheric testing for deep excavations and confined spaces.
• Ensure proper barricading, signage, and lighting around excavation zones to protect workers and the public.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve safety issues.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions related to excavation hazards.
• Investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents; prepare incident reports and corrective actions.
• Ensure dewatering systems are safe and effective to prevent collapse or flooding.
• Monitor excavation activities near live metro operations to avoid structural or service damage.
• Maintain HSE records, inspection checklists, permits, and safety reports.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco / Royal Commission / Riyadh Metro HSE standards (as applicable).
• Stop unsafe work practices and report non-compliance to site management

• Conduct daily safety inspection & motivates work force to work with safety.
• Conduct periodic inspection of tools & equipment & ensure right tools are used for specific work.
• Conduct investigation of accidents, finding the root causes & recommending preventive measures which need to be followed.
• Check all the documents of the heavy equipment's before they are mobilized to the site for work.
• Always keep in touch with all workers to be reminded of safety.
• To prepare & maintain Safety documents, records also.
• Enlighten the hazards at each site & to educate every individual safety step require for different jobs.
• Making daily weekly and monthly reports and analyzing the repeated observations so that the preventive measures can be found out.
• Make daily inspections of the workers to see if they are prescribed PPE or not.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the site.
• Check availability of first AID kit.
• Ensure workers wear safety gears like safety harness & their tie off, safety gloves safety shoes and hard hats etc.
• Check proper warning signs warning tapes & barricades installed or not where required to prevent the incident/ accident at the construction site.
• Check of work permit at site before starting the activities.
• Conduct the toolbox meeting & giving good safety instructions to new people in job site.
• Constantly inspect the job site for the purpose of discovering hazardous conditions & unsafe practices & arrange to correct the same before they can cause accident.
• Inspection of work site through different checklists.
• Submit all required & needed Reports to HSE Supervisor.
• Check proper monthly color coding on tools.
• Keep complete record of daily/ weekly safety meetings at site.
• Special attention is paid to the confined space& work at height activities.
