 To study and understand the scope of work, contract, schedule, project execution,

local conditions, construction execution of a specific project/proposal.

 Responsible for submitting the tender on time and attending the pre-bid meetings and site visits.

 Monitors and stores the costs to improve the accuracy of future pricing.

 Delegates the inquiries to other estimator’s.

 Checks the estimates or worksheets made by other estimators.

 Maintain the estimating data bank to ensure data is updated.

 Proactive in analyzing and interpreting engineering drawings to determine the estimation, strategy. Receives and evaluates tenders and enquiries.

 Preparation of prime cost estimates, tenders in accordance with client requirements and risk analysis for justification of contingency if any for submission to management to apply mark up and arrive at tender submission prices.

 Prepares cost comparison sheets for all supply’s & Sub-contractor items.

 Do pricing for the complete project as per company’s pricing formats.

 Attends to Internal Kick-Off Meetings & hand over all the contract documents to the Project team & clarifies all doubts, as and when required.
