- Developing project baselines, monitoring & controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects.
- To be an integral part of daily coordination committee meetings with Client rep, ship staff to properly coordinate activities, communicate with the project team and project manager on pertinent issues.
- To manage supervisors and workers and assigning them daily activities and ensuring that they follow the safety standards and procedures.
- Ensuring equipment and spare materials are delivered to job sites in timely and cost-effective manner and managing abnormalities related to it.
- Coordination with classification society surveyors for inspections, approvals and certifications.
- Preparation of method statements, risk assessments etc related to shipbuilding and repair activities.
- To ensure all company quality requirements are followed and ensure satisfactory results during internal and external audits.
- Monitoring project costs, material & manpower allocations throughout the project.
- Carry out safety and quality walkthroughs in the work locations with subordinates to ensure standard operating procedures are strictly followed.
