Role Overview:

We are looking for an Embedded DSP Expert for an assignment with our client in Lund. You will act as a hands-on digital signal processing and machine learning engineer with strong MATLAB/Python-based algorithm development and C programming expertise, providing technical guidance, challenging existing approaches constructively, and driving technical topics independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and prototype algorithms using MATLAB and Python.
• Implement and optimize algorithms in C for resource-constrained embedded devices.
• Drive sensor data processing and DSP tasks from initial concept through to production.
• Optimize algorithms for accuracy, robustness, power consumption, and false positive performance.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate closely with cross-functional embedded teams.

Key Requirements:

• Strong background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and sensor data processing.
• Solid experience with algorithm development and prototyping in MATLAB and Python.
• Good knowledge of C for algorithm implementation and optimization.
• Proven track record of taking algorithms from concept to production.
• Proactive, courageous, and hands-on personality capable of creating momentum and making decisions without waiting for direction.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience developing ML-based solutions for resource-constrained devices.
