• *We are looking for skilled software engineers to deliver the next generation of navigation services. The assignment is for contractors that are passionate about building the world's best navigation platform at massive scale.
• *Start date: ASAP
• *Duration: Long-term project (12 months contract + extension)
• *Location: Malmö (5 days onsite) + a number of evening meetings
• *Key Responsibilities
• Develop and enhance responsive UIs using React + TypeScript.
• Build reusable components and UI patterns using Styled Components / component libraries.
• Integrate frontend with REST APIs and work with backend teams to refine API contracts.
• creating intuitive, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces, improving UX for complex workflows, and ensuring high quality through automated testing and solid engineering practices.
• Improve UI/UX workflows, simplify complex configurations, and ensure user-centric design.
• Maintain code quality with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban), code reviews, and technical discussions.
• collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, Backend teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into elegant UI solutions that improve user experience and overall product adoption.
• *Must-Have Skills
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React.
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive UI.
• Experience with testing tools: Jest, RTL, and Cypress.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Git and Agile delivery.
• *Education & Experience
• *BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering disciplines will be considered
