Full Stack Developer / Backend Developer / Java Developer

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Full Stack Developer / Backend Developer / Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications and backend systems. This role involves working across the full development lifecycle to deliver high-performance, secure, and reliable digital solutions that meet business and user requirements.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to build robust web applications and backend services. You will contribute to system architecture, implement new features, optimize application performance, and ensure the stability and scalability of software systems.

On the frontend side, you may support the development of responsive and user-friendly interfaces. On the backend side, you will focus on building APIs, designing and maintaining databases, and implementing business logic using Java and related technologies. You will also ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.

Key responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, developing RESTful APIs, managing data storage solutions, debugging and resolving technical issues, and participating in code reviews. You will also contribute to testing, deployment processes, and continuous improvement of development practices.

The role also involves working with frameworks and tools commonly used in Java development, supporting system optimization, ensuring application security, and collaborating on cloud or server-based deployments. The ideal candidate is analytical, solution-oriented, and passionate about building scalable and reliable software systems.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java programming and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with backend development, APIs, and server-side architecture.
• Understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and system integration techniques.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Understanding of application security and performance optimization principles.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms or deployment processes is a plus.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
