Singapore A leading global quantitative trading firm is hiring a Front Office Trading Applications Engineer to join a high-impact engineering team supporting its liquidity and execution business.
The team owns a mission-critical Order Management System used across multiple trading desks and external liquidity partnerships. The role combines front-end development, backend engineering and analytics, with a strong focus on building intuitive tools for traders and technical business users.
The role
- Build and enhance real-time trading tools and internal applications
- Develop user interfaces and workflow visualisations using JavaScript / TypeScript
- Build backend services and analytics in Python
- Work across the full stack in a highly collaborative environment
- Partner directly with traders and senior stakeholders across Asia and the US
- Contribute to systems where reliability, performance and usability are critical
What they are looking for
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, with flexibility for exceptional candidates
- Strong hands-on TypeScript and Python development
- Experience building real-time, high-availability or mission-critical systems
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with technical users
