Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Java Software Engineer to join a software engineering team supporting complex, business-critical applications in the banking and wealth management domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable Java applications.
• Translate business and system requirements into stable, fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• Work with Java, EJB, Spring Boot, MySQL, Oracle, and IBM MQ.
• Analyse and resolve complex legacy defects and production issues.
• Develop REST and SOAP web services.
• Ensure compliance with coding, security, performance, and architectural standards.
• Participate in technical design and code reviews.
• Work in an Agile environment using TDD and continuous integration practices.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on estimates, timelines, and delivery progress.
