PHP/ Java Developer

Our client in the fintech industry is seeking a skilled

PHP / Java Developer to join their development team. This role is open to frontend, backend, or full‑stack developers who are passionate about building secure, scalable financial and payment solutions in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend and/or backend applications using

PHP, Java, JavaScript

, and frameworks such as

Spring

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Build secure, high‑performance, and scalable systems, with a strong focus on payment and financial workflows
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and issue resolution
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes in collaboration with DevOps teams
• Work closely with QA, UX/UI, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Stay updated on fintech trends, secure coding standards, and emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a PHP / Java Developer (frontend, backend, or full‑stack)
• Strong hands‑on experience with

Java, PHP, JavaScript

, and frameworks such as

Spring

• Good understanding of secure coding practices and application security
• Experience with databases and ORM tools (e.g.,

Hibernate

)

• Familiarity with

Git and Agile development methodologies

• Experience with payment systems or fintech platforms is a strong plus
