Abdullah Farid believes that technological advancements are the way to pursue truth and answers for humanity's various problems. As a member of this legacy, he intends to contribute to this believe via technology as an industrial innovator in the future. Currently he is studying in the National University Of Singapore before he can pursue the various intellectual mediums in order to achieve his goal. Prior to this, he graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma with Merit in Mechanical Engineering.
He was an active volunteer in the community in areas such as youth development, environment, policy making and welfare. He is always willing to serve when called upon. Besides altruistic reasons, he intends to use this experiences to collate skills & empathy for his own objectivist personal growth in hopes that he can help people and the mechanisms of society better.
Abdullah Farid is passionate in all things related to powertrain systems and has 2 years of experience in designing and building an Internal Combustion Powertrain for the NUS FSAE formula student car in 2020 and 2021, with the latter team securing an overall position of 3rd in FSAE Michigan 2021. Additionally beyond this, he has dived into the ever growing electrification of future mobility and transport and is currently engaging in electrical powertrain systems for both land and air.
In every engagement, Abdullah Farid is driven by his desire/focus to serve the community and dedicates his work for dispersing the many curiosities in his life. Alas, his love for knowledge and understanding are the fuel that allows him to enjoy the process as he pursues his ambitions while constantly reiterating "I do not live for an experience of a lifetime; but of a lifetime of experiences."
