As part of the Business Management team, I was responsible for the governance and secretariat matters of Vistra Trust Singapore (“VTS”) and Vistra Trust Hong Kong (“VTHK”). These included scheduling governance or operational meetings, writing meeting minutes, drafting or reviewing SOPs and policies, maintaining registers and trackers, proofreading documents, and conducting gap analyses. The work in the financial services industry exposed me to Know Your Client (“KYC”) principles, due diligence requirements, and Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (“AML/CFT”) regulations in Singapore and Hong Kong.
I consistently produced clear, factual, and grammatical written work. I created online registers and libraries, and I helped provide training and/or guidance to new colleagues. I worked closely with VTS’s and VTHK’s upper management teams.

As part of management, I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of CEFL Skudai. I arranged timetables or calendars, assigned teachers to classes, handled registrations and enquiries, handled correspondence with parents and/or students, and managed the opening and closing of the language centre. I handled teacher recruitments, trainings, and replacements.
I prepared and proofread marketing materials such as announcements, flyers, and Facebook posts. I served as the liaison with CEFL’s main office, and I administered Cambridge English exams together with the main office.
As an English teacher, I taught English to students aged 10 – 18 to prepare them for Cambridge English Pre-A1 Starters, A1 Movers, A2 Flyers, A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First, and/or C1 Advanced examinations. I made use of props, real-life examples, and activities to help students understand the lessons. I also conducted mock exams to prepare students for the actual Cambridge English exams.

As part of the Research & Development (“R&D”) team, I was responsible for validating the mass production of Reckitt Benckiser aerosol products at the Johor Bahru factory. I planned and executed cost-saving projects worth in total £975,000 per year, new product development projects worth in total £1.6 million per year, quality improvement projects, and other minor projects. I wrote reports and summaries for the R&D team’s various projects, analytical tests, and production trials.
I registered data for new products and updated existing data on of Reckitt Benckiser’s (global) database system. I maintained upkeep of the shared laboratory and disposed chemical waste in accordance with relevant regulations. I managed and trained manufacturing operators hired to assist the R&D team.
