Experience as a Software Engineer
2021-2022
Worked as a backend engineer with client Credit Suisse. Worked on a adding features for multiple microservices that were a part of a large wealth management application. Worked on feature development and maintenance of legacy monolith service for a private banking application.
Took up and completed the responsibility to implement fall back mechanism for the trading feature in the application. All services were accompanied with unit and integration testing. Contributed to UI features enhancement for a customer facing application as a part of front end development.
2019-2020
As a member of Garmin’s MES-Operations engineering team I took up and completed the task of designing and implementing applications that were used in the manufacturing process of infotainment units for BMW cars .The services were implemented following best practices and accompanied by unit and integration tests followed by shipping the same across distributed production servers and maintaining it. Worked closely with teams across geo locations to migrate some services and own them to learn their functionality and provide support. This involved me working closely with process engineers to guide them on how the services play a role in the factory line and how they could use them.
2000-2016
Trained as an Athlete for 16 years
Highest Achievements: Secured 4th place in Long Jump at Commonwealth Youth Games in 2008 in Pune Represented India in Long Jump in Asian Athletic Championships held at Jakarta in 2008 Represented India in the Asian Indoor Senior Athletic Championships held at Hangzhou in 2012.
Won 34 National Level medals at various athletic events.
Awarded the best sportsperson by Karnataka Olympic Association in 2008
