CTP Operator - Awal Press – Bahrain - Bahrain

• Software - Strong working knowledge of Heidelberg Prinect Cockpit and Prinect Signa Station ,Adobe photoshop,Adobe illutrator,Adobe pagemaker for production workflow.
• Prepare Print Files – Review and process digital files from the prepress department to ensure they are ready for plate-making.
• Operate CTP Equipment – Use the CTP machine to transfer digital images onto printing plates accurately.
• Inspect Output Quality – Check plates for defects, alignment, resolution, and exposure before sending them to the press.
• Maintain CTP Machines – Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of CTP systems for consistent performance.
• Troubleshoot Errors – Identify and fix issues with file formats, impositions, or machine malfunctions during plate production.
• Monitor Plate Inventory – Track stock levels of printing plates and chemicals, and report or request restocking as needed.
• Ensure File Accuracy – Double-check layout, color settings, and bleeds in digital files to avoid production errors.
• Coordinate with Prepress and Press Teams – Communicate with designers, press operators, and supervisors to ensure production schedules are met.
• Follow Safety and Quality Standards – Adhere to company policies on health, safety, and quality control during CTP operations.
• Record Production Data – Maintain logs of plate output, job details, errors, and maintenance activities for reporting and quality tracking.
