- Create Instruction Procedure, Technical Report and Data Card for NDT method
- Create a training plan for newly hired personnel.
- In-charge of controlling company NDT procedures.
- Revise and implement NDT technique.
- Perform thorough investigation on all Rolls-Royce engine critical component using the following NDT methods (ECI, UT, FPI, MPI and Binocular Inspection)
- Conduct inspection on RR serviceable engine component and determines damage condition whether to extend/shorten the life of the component
- Coordinate with Rotative Engineering Team (RR UK Headquarters) for any serious damage found on critical areas
- Involve in creating NDT Technical Writing Report for all non-conforming component
- Involve in creating new NDT techniques and inspection fixtures design
- Perform Rotary Eddy Current Inspection on Trent Series Intermediate
Pressure Turbine and High-Pressure Compressor
- Perform Ultrasonic Testing using Guided Wave on coated Seal Fin of
Compressor and Turbine component
- Support Rolls-Royce Singapore Assembly Test Unit for NDT Inspection of
Module 04 and 05 as well as conduct FPI for Engine Assembly
- Inspect using various Eddy Current probes to comply with the Life
Management Program requirements for Critical Group A components
- Use Portable handheld scanning technique to detect surface and subsurface defects
- Testing of part for internal and surface defects with thickness measurement capability
- Perform FPI and inspect under UV light for flaws open to the surface such as cracks, laps, etc.
- Inspect to satisfy Critical Group A components LMP requirement and support Failure Investigation activities carried out in Rolls-Royce Advance
Technology Center
- Perform Binocular Inspection which is capable of viewing up to 40X magnification
- Inspect Trent series engine for HPC Drum using Borescope Inspection
- Apply Rubber Replica for serious damage on part and measure the dimension using Alicona IFM system
- Perform as a Team Lead for NDT team, train, and guide new NDT personnel.
- Create and submit Test Method Revision for QA department.
