Amanda Loh

I am Amanda Loh, a recent graduate from the Diploma of Creative Writing for Television and New Media from Singapore Polytechnic and will be available for an internship attachment through the months of May to July. As I prepare to pursue my studies in media and communication, I am eager to gain more experience in the field of public relations and communications before university starts.

Having just completed an internship as a content writing intern at an advertising agency, I have developed strong writing skills and a keen eye for crafting compelling and informative content, and learnt how to collaborate with cross-functional teams. I am now seeking an opportunity to apply these skills to the context of corporate communications.

CONTENT WRITING INTERN (FIFTYFULL) (Sept 2022- March 2022)

• Write and create marketing collaterals and brand films for brands such as Subaru and the Singapore Institute of Technology.
• Interviewed and transcribed interviews.
• Aided in filming and editing content for our clients' social media accounts.
• Conceptualised campaign proposals such as activation campaigns.

FREELANCE STAFFWRITER (Mediacorp) (Nov 2021-Feb 2022)

• Scriptwriting Core Team of web series titled 'Adulting'. 
• Involved in the creative directory and ideation supported by literary research. 
• Supervised and mentored closely by Head Writer.

Diploma in Creative Writing for Television and New Media, with a specialisation in Filmmaking and a minor in Business

I learnt how to conceptualise and produce creative content for different media platforms. More importantly, I learnt how to bring the visuals and stories in my head, to life.
