Hello, I am Andy Wee, and I am currently in the process of completing my Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Information and Communications Technology majoring in Information Security and will graduate in 2024.
I have a strong background in malware analysis and reverse engineering as I was part of the Mindef SAF CyberNSF Scheme. I have a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and hands-on experience in identifying and analyzing various types of malware. My expertise lies in gaining insights into malware functionality and features through the use of different disassemblers and debuggers.
I have also interned at Certis Cisco/BRI Securities from September 2017 to February 2018, I contributed to the development of an automated patrol robot using Java, that performs license plate recognition and physical ground feature tracking. I was also given the opportunity to intern in their Australian sub-company and built a security operation dashboard using OutSystems, significantly improving the overall workflow of the company.
In addition to my technical skills, which include proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C, JAVA, Assembly Language, HTML, and PHP, I am also knowledgeable in IT skill sets such as mobile application development, digital forensics, incidence response and incident handling, security operations center analytics and logs monitoring, and networking and network security.
