I have been equally passionate about learning and teaching the Tamil Language from a young age, and I have been taking private tuition for students since 2017. I strongly believe in incorporating bilingualism as a key component of my pedagogy, and have been constantly developing new ways to enable students to understand the fundamentals of the Tamil language through English, if necessary. I strongly believe that methods of learning and ways of acquiring knowledge, especially for the younger generations, have changed drastically in the past two decades with rapid globalisation and technological growth.
Therefore, I am a believer that the pedagogical tools to teach Tamil must change as well, which is why I constantly experiment and incorporate multiple facets of my own experiences as a performer, a writer and a bilingual translator into my lessons.
