I am currently a Year 1 student, studying Food Science and Technology at NUS. I am also currently staying in Sheares Hall. I have a few experiences working in the F&B industry during my part time work while waiting for university to start, mainly doing serving and handling of food. I am someone who is very passionate about food and its future, is meticulous and am a team player.
After secondary 4, I have worked on a flexible shift basis in Marina Bay Sands under Century Evergreen, doing banquet services and front desk jobs.
After completing Junior College, I was working in Cafe Kreams at Tanjong Pagar, doing serving, decoration of the desserts and helping with the preparation of food. I also worked as a server in Tigerlily Patisserie, and also learnt barista skills along side. Throughout my experiences in the F&B industry, I have learnt how to interact with customers and my fellow coworkers, and also learn how to handle customer complaints as well.
I was from Chung Cheng (Main) Secondary School, and obtained a O Level score of 9. I then went on to study Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics in Nanyang Junior College and obtained a rank point of 88.75. I am now currently pursuing a degree in Food Science and Technology in the National University of Singapore and am in Year 1.
