Cheryl Chia

Hi there! I am a passionate, work-driven, and efficient student aiming towards a Degree in Bachelor of Arts, under the Faculty of Arts at Monash University (Australia). I am majoring in Communications and Media Studies and am currently based in Singapore.

I aim to use my acquired knowledge of Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Production, Audio Production, and Photography to contribute to the best of my abilities when working at your company.

One of the reasons I feel one should be shortlisted for the company would be brand knowledge. As an avid consumer of Disney, it allows me to be equipped with prior brand knowledge for me to understand Disney's way of work.

My professional experience comprises internships throughout my student journey over the past 5 years. Firstly, I had the honour of being one of State Court Singapore's video editors, curating marketing collaterals such as animated videos and infographics. Secondly, I have also worked under Mediacorp's subdivision, Melon8, where I did basic cuts and ideating under the brand ‘Clarity,’ a female-centric brand that touches on sensitive issues.

Thirdly, I turned to Korea Artiz Studio to gain experience with photography and production, where I was a studio assistant assisting the main photographer with the mounting of set props, looking through shot lists, and helping brides and grooms look their best during shoots.

My most relevant education consists of the current degree I am pursuing, which is the Bachelor of Arts. I major in Communications and Media Studies.
