Job scope

• Train children to acquire self-help skills which includes toilet training, eating, and other skills
• To help reduce inappropriate behaviours
• To come up with behavioural intervention plans
• To conduct functional behavior assessment
• To promote social interaction/behaviours 
• Plan, prepare and execute the school programmes 
• Data collection and behaviour analysis
• Work closely with parents and other multi-professional teams (psychologists, occupational therapist, speech therapist)
• Plan and write IEP, lesson/teaching plans, reports, records and other documentation
• Assist team members in other duties
• To train new class teachers’/teacher aides whenever necessary
• To assist in the writing of the scope of sequence of the Social Emotional Learning Curriculum
