I am Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, specialization in Natural Products Chemistry.

I have experience in analytical method development and method validation using UPLC/HPLC and LC-MS. I have hands-on experience of UHPLC/HPLC, Prep-HPLC, FT-IR, UV-Visible, NMR, GC-MS, LC-MS, and LC-HR-MS/MS techniques as well as analysis of their experimental data. I have experience on essential oils extraction using hydro-distillation, steam-distillation and super critical Fluid extraction techniques.

I worked on the extraction, isolation and identification of biologically active compounds from medicinal plants, fungal-co-culture extracts and orchids, using different techniques like, high throughput screening, chromatographic, spectroscopic and spectrometric. I have isolated different class of compounds including small molecules and peptides. I prepared synthetic/semi-synthetic analogs by chemical reactions for Structure Activity Relationship (SAR) studies.

I carried out Molecular modeling and ADME/Toxicity studies to explore the mechanism of action of bioactive molecules.

I have ~7 years research and supervision experience of Junior Scientist, PhD students and Research Interns. I have published and reviewed several research articles in reputed International journals/conferences.
