I would like to inform you that I am Dwaipayan Barman, completed PhD from Concordia University, mostly working on design of high torque density electrical machine, variable flux machines for traction applications. I also worked on a solid rotor induction machine for energy storage application. My PhD thesis was on cogging torque analysis in special permanent magnet machines, variable flux machines.
I am also acquainted with cold spray additive manufacturing techniques to produce permanent magnet, core material for traction application to reduce acoustic noise and vibration in electrical machines. I also have basic knowledge on how to calculate core loss, parameter estimation and calculation, fault analysis of electrical machines. I have one-year experience in Canada and Singapore.
I am actively looking for opportunities in electrical machine design.
