- Finite Element Modelling for Structural Behaviour of Hollow Reinforced Concrete Beam
- The concrete beam models were developed using ABAQUS with variations in size, shape, and position of the hollow section, and they were tested under a 4-point bending test. The load-deflection curve, stress-strain distribution, crack pattern, and failure mode were investigated. The optimum design of the hollow section consists of circular holes positioned just below the neutral axis of the concrete beam.

- The Study of Concrete Strength with Admixture Added
The concrete samples were prepared using ST3 (Mix proportion for standard mixes from Table 5: BS 5800) with the number of paper clips as 0, 50, 100, and 150, and ST5 without any added admixture. The effect of paper clips as steel fibers on the concrete design was investigated. The presence of steel fibers increased compressive strength but reduced the concrete's workability.
