After graduation from two local universities (NUS and NTU), I continued to persevere continuous learning through on job trainings, courses and even a Micro Master's in Supply Chain completed in 2023.

The accumulated experiences that I have are Commodity/ Strategic Supplier Management, Contract Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Demand/ Forecast and Supply Reviews, Inventory and Contract Management, Supplier Quality Management, Project Transfers, Project Management, Warehouse Management and Transfers, Continuous Improvement, BOM Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvements across Biotech, Oil & Gas and Electronics Consumers business sectors.

I believed in analyzing, planning and take actions to continue to break through your status quo. Being curious and wanting to explore more is who I am.

• Implement measures to ensure continuous supply of materials for production usage and support NPD.
• Identify and set key SC objectives to drive success to product deliveries.
• Drive activities or actions to meet KPOs such as inflation & rebates, On-Time Delivery, Supplier Contracts Coverage, PO Lead Time Accuracy, Business Reviews & Annual Audits for key suppliers, cycle count accuracy, picking of WO/SO efficiencies.
• Identify supply risk and implement mitigation actions.
• Drive inventory management by monitoring Safety Stock, Cycle Stock, Pipeline Inventory and Aging Inventory and taking necessary actions. 
• Manage and lead team of 19 Supplier Leaders, Sourcing Specialists, Procurement Specialists and Warehouse Manager/Personnels in a 3-level hierarchy.
• Derive and execute sourcing projects to achieve efficiencies in quality, cost and lead time.
• Contribute and complete continuous improvement projects.
• Review forecast, sales orders and other demand. Participate in demand planning activities to ensure on-time deliveries from suppliers and on-time shipment to customers.
• Establish vendor managed inventory via for long LT components.
• Regular reviews on cycle stock, pipeline inventory, safety stock and aging inventory to ensure healthy inventory levels.
• Quarterly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy to avoid any downtime to production or asset loss.
• Develop supply chain management strategies that improve lead time, payment terms and ultimately free cash flow to SLB.
• Coordinate with main interfaces across Supply Chain Management and the other functions.
• Strategize allocations to suppliers to ensure no spend leakage so as to ensure realization of planned savings.
• Identify key risk and implement mitigation actions.
• Initiate and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Optimization of resources and capacity.

I took a Micromasters in Supply Chain where I further re-enforced my skills in my current role. Optimization of supply capacities, resources planning and location of distribution centers or warehouses are the key takeaways.

Furthermore, if I were to talk to suppliers on manufacturing processes, materials used or quality issues, I will have an upper hand as my Degree (Material Science) and Master's (Mechanics and Processing of Materials) were all focused on materials and their processes.
