I graduated from Murdoch University in February 2022 with a BSc. in Animal Science & Animal Health. I then had the opportunity to be part of a startup company that manufactured fish feed and fertilizers from Black Soldier Flies fed with waste from palm oil mills. Following that, I took on a short internship at an intellectual property firm as I had an interest in understanding intellectual property and its applications to animals and the agricultural industry.
February 2023, I have been employed full-time as veterinary nurse.
Growing up watching various national geographic documentaries and reading encyclopedias and magazines, I have always felt strongly for environmental and wildlife conservation. With rising sea levels, extinction of species, depletion of natural resources and the advent of covid-19, understanding of zoonoses and the interaction between humans and the environment has never been more relevant.
