WORK EXPERIENCE

Special Education Teacher (Autism Spectrum Disorder) June 2015 – March 2023

• Delivery educational program for students between the aged of 13-16 years of age according to the SPED Curriculum Framework.
• Participate in the development of Student’s Individual Care Plan by monitoring, observing and recording student’s progress to provide data for appropriate individualized care and learning outcomes.
• Plan Individualized Education Plans (IEP) with Allied Health Professionals.
• Prepare learning materials and provide a conducive and safe learning environment for students.
• Utilizing various materials, learning resources and assistive technology in ways appropriate to enhance students’ learning experience both in school and home.
• Work with stakeholders and community partners to contextualize and generalize learning engagement at home and in the community.
• Work as a team to ensure student’s integration of skills and learning in activities.
