I have taught English to young children for more than twenty years. My professional background includes a diverse range of educational contexts. I have the theoretical underpinnings of a BA in English Language and Literature and an advanced diploma in teaching.
My exposure to many English reading materials from a young age have fuelled my lifelong love for reading and writing. With my belief in the 3P’s of a teacher’s mantra, which are patience, persistence and perseverance, I hope to inculcate and impart in children the love and joy for reading and writing, as well as to help them become confident and effective communicators so that they will enjoy good self-esteem as well as positive social and interpersonal skills.
